The numbers (stats) you’ve reached with this blog are more than just impressive – they’re stunning. I think, great blog should fulfill three requirements – teach, entertain, and share gitfs (freebies). There are, of course, many more things blog should do, but the ones I mentioned are the most important. WDD is that dream blog. It provides us, readers, with everything we might ever need – knowledge, food for thought, tutorials and how-tos, freebies, super fun and relevant comics, best resources from the web, and virtually everything one might want to get from a niche blog! Not every blog, hundreds of which we see online, is even close to this.

Speaking of MightyDeals, I want to say I’m sure it will rock our socks. :)
I know that you, Walter, are one of the people behind BundleHunt – one of the greatest “event”, if you let me call it so. I purchased the first bundle and won the second one in a giveaway from Steven Snell, so I’ve had a chance to check the quality of both. One word – brilliant. The idea itself is nothing new (think of Groupon) but the value of the product is very high. Win-win situation for designers and companies that sponsored the event.

Now, I guess you’re not the one whom this should be addressed to, but here it goes. In my opinion, the second bundle was worse than the first one. One of the bad things about it was that the exact same hosting plan was offered twice that wasn’t supposed to renew but to register a new account. Maybe you should have seen it coming and thought about people who might buy both bundles. I’m sure you considered this idea for MightDeals, if it’s applicable to it.

In closing, I want to say I’m 100% sure MightyDeals will not dissapoint me. Really looking forward to seeing it live.

What I think about Mighty Deals?
Let me tell you a heartwarming story first:

In 1986, a guy called Peter Davies was on holiday in Kenya after graduating from Northwestern University .

On a hike through the bush, he came across a young bull elephant standing with one leg raised in the air. The elephant seemed distressed, so Peter approached it very carefully.

He got down on one knee, inspected the elephantʼs foot, and found a large piece of wood deeply embedded in it. As carefully and as gently as he could, Peter worked the wood out with his knife, after which the elephant gingerly put down its foot. The elephant turned to face the man, and with a rather curious look on its face, stared at him for several tense moments. Peter stood frozen, thinking of nothing else but being trampled. Eventually the elephant trumpeted loudly, turned, and walked away. Peter never forgot that elephant or the events of that day.

Twenty years later, Peter was walking through the Chicago Zoo with his teenaged son. As they approached the elephant enclosure, one of the creatures turned and walked over to near where Peter and his son Cameron were standing. The large bull elephant stared at Peter, lifted its front foot off the ground, then put it down. The elephant did that several times then trumpeted loudly, all the while staring at the man.

Remembering the encounter in 1986, Peter could not help wondering if this was the same elephant. Peter summoned up his courage, climbed over the railing, and made his way into the enclosure. He walked right up to the elephant and stared back in wonder. The elephant trumpeted again, wrapped its trunk around one of Peter legs and slammed him against the railing, killing him instantly.

Probably wasn’t the same elephant.

What does this have to do with my comment about Mighty Deals? Well, maybe you never know what comes in life and what to expect. But one thing is sure: I think we can expect a lot of good things from Might Deals.

i know my comment would be lost in the sea of other comment but still.

i’m an artist and have exeptional detail skills, so naturally when i desided to do something for a living desing was my best option. since most ppl in my comunnty who are in design do Graphics and ad placment i desided to be diffrent and try web design.

I did not have a clue about Code, HTML, css (or even Notepad). i was shocked to learn that Web design is more then graphics or any thing i know.

WDD was my #1 resource in the secrets to know what the pro’s do. I’m now making 6 figures a year and employ 3 ppl. I mastered html and css, i did some major restyling for nice companies, and most of all i learned to love to WDD community and i can honestly say that WDD has the least amount of spam comments, and the most professional input i ever came across (and boy do i read)

You guys at WDD have had a big impact on the way I look at design. I don’t have a million customers, and I am not a big time designer, but I like to think that you’ve had an effect on the web through me just a little.

I’m a big coupon user, and I subscribe to every deal giver on twitter. Following Mighty Deals sounds like a killer opportunity. I’ve actually taken advantage of some of the deals through WDD already, so I’d love to see more.
